BACnet network gateways are used to connect non-BACnet devices to a BACnet network, or vice versa. The most commonly used BACnet gateway is used to connect Modbus devices to BACnet networks. A BACnet router is used to connect a BACnet MS/TP network to a BACnet IP network. Other types of routers exist, but MS/TP to IP is the most common BACnet router.

BACnet gateways from Control Solutions are lower cost and easier to use than our competition. There are no additional drivers or software to buy. Simply select the model that represents the functionality you require, and all software you need is included. Configuration software is included in the web user interface for some models. All other models have stand-alone configuration software you may download to your PC at no cost. Online user guides and videos are provided for most models to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

Babel Buster BB2-7010 contains up to five different clients and four different servers. The BB2-7010-01 includes BACnet/IP client and server, Modbus TCP client and server (master and slave), and Modbus RTU master and slave. Modbus devices are accessible from BACnet IP and vice versa. The BB2-7010-02 and additional models also include an SNMP client and server (agent), making BACnet data accessible via SNMP or making SNMP devices accessible from BACnet. Additional models include support for collecting data from third party WiFi sensors and controlling WiFi actuators.
